About K2G NEXTGEN ENTREPRENEURS

The Namibia Investment Promotion and Development Board (NIPDB) will host the first annual Know2Grow (K2G) NextGen Entrepreneurs event from 16 to 18 November 2022, in Tsumeb.

Objective:

The first annual K2G NextGen Entrepreneurs will be hosted under the theme; Scaling through Innovation, Value addition and Co-operatives. K2G NextGen Entrepreneurs is a market access and capacity building platform which is established to support the entrepreneurial visions of youth-owned scalable Namibian business. The platform will afford the entrepreneurs from all over Namibia an opportunity to showcase their business offerings, engage various industry stakeholders and network with fellow young entrepreneurs. The overall objective is to develop and support the acceleration of the young entrepreneurs’ business ventures through exposure to potential support and business linkages.

Expectations:

The event will host 140 MSMEs, of which 60 will be in person and another 80 on on this virtual platform. Other exhibitors will include 30 business support organisations (BSOs), including NIPDB. An anticipated 8000 visitors will be in attendance both virtually and in person. The programme of activities will include the opening and closing ceremonies attended by state dignitaries, panel discussions with local and international BSOs, B2B engagements, B2G engagements and MSMEs performance awards, to mention a few. The programme will be live-streamed over the 3 days duration of the event. Media houses will be invited to cover the activities on various outlets and platforms. The NIPDB and the event partners look forward to hosting the business on the virtual trade fair at the first annual K2G NextGen Entrepreneurs event.
